YUVRAJ SINGH SELECTED FOR DELHI U-13 TEAM FOR AIFF NATIONAL U-13 CHAMPIONSHIPS IN KALYANI

We're happy to announce that Yuvraj Singh, who joined our U-10 batch in 2009, was selected to represent the Delhi state team in the AIFF U-13 Football Festival in Kalyani near Calcutta. We congratulate him on behlaf of YSFA, students and parents. This is the third consecutive year that our student has been selected in the U-13 Delhi teams which goes to explain the dedication our coaches show when it comes to handling the kids at the young age. If Yuvraj impresses the India coaches there, he might as well get the chance to play for our National Team.

ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR YSFA JERSEYS

Parents are advised not to send their kids in jerseys other than one provided by the academy during their admission. It doesn't look good when it comes to presenting our photographs to the media and elsewhere when we are promoting your kids.

Our has been an effort to categorise students on the basis of their improvement and then push them to a more tough competitions. So far, we have identified a strong sub-junior team and we are committed to promote them in the days to come. We have started off our new season with a friendly match against Baichung Bhutia Football School which we won by a handsome margin. There are more matches coming in our way.

Possibly a match against Liverpool Academy at IIT which will be followed by another match which will be played at home on April 7. Selection will be solely based on the regularity and overall performances. Coaches will have a final word on the team. Those who don't get a chance, should wait for their turn in the next match. These are all friendly matches. Hence, everybody will be given a chance to show their merit.
